SUPPLEMENTS

Salam Ramadhan everyone! Hope you’re having a better Ramadhan than the previous year. This year in this blessed month it’s honestly challenging for me personally since I am currently on lots of medication and undergoing some treatments so it is really something new for me this time around.

Truly grateful for these gifts given to me in this world

I’ve written a lot about my personal illnesses recently and I’ve been prescribed with lots of medication for my treatment to tackle my illnesses. On top of that, I’m also taking various supplements to help me get through the day.

I used to have a daily tablets organiser for my morning and evening meds. But now all my medication and supplements can no longer fit them =( But I guess God has His plan for me, insya Allah.

Anyway, today I want to talk about one of the supplements that I have been taking for the past year which is the Proviton Multivits that contain numerous vitamins, zinc, calcium and even folic acid. We are not getting enough of these from our foods so these days supplements are essential. I know that supplements will not be able to solve my illnesses but at least I am trying to strengthen my body. Ikhtiar. Every little effort helps.

Hmmm..Inspecting the capsules closely. Okay, pass!
But what I like the most and gives me ease of mind is that even though the Proviton Multivits’ capsules are from bovine sources, I no longer have to worry as it is certified halal by JAKIM. I was introduced to the Proviton Multivits last year and I have been taking them regularly ever since. The entire range of products by Duopharma are guaranteed halal, giving consumers a choice which previously were not available to us.

Elhan and Evren both light up whenever they see or talk about animals. They know most of the sounds animal makes. Even just planning a trip to the zoo gets them so excited!

Of course, I try to make sure they get their daily dose of vitamins before we go out and they love it!
I’ve written about this internationally recognised halal-conscious Brand before (KEEPING HEALTHY ON THE GO) and I’m glad that they have expanded the range of products for us. And it is even more assuring since Duopharma aren’t just slapping a halal sign on their products. They really take halal pharmaceuticals seriously and are committed to it. Just check out their website for the latest updates in halal health and wellness (click here).

They have an array of products which I can use for my family too. My husband’s personal favourite is the Flavettes Effervescent Vitamin C soluble drink. For my kids, they also love the Champs chewable Vitamin C tablets and also soluble vitamin C drink as well.

Health is a luxury and it is the best investment. There's nothing more a parent would see than their children being healthy and active. I do what I can by giving my kids supplements so they can grow healthy and strong!

My kids love the Champs chewable vitamins and the orange flavoured soluble tablets and they will jump up and down to ask for it. They also just like sucking the soluble tablets before it's  dissolved.. It makes me so happy that they like to take their vitamins.

That beautiful smile and gorgeous laughter. sigh. Melts. Me. Every. Time.

It is often said that health is the biggest wealth and luxury one could have beyond anything else. Having undergone a lot of medical conditions throughout my years, I certainly agree. Please take care of your health before it is taken from you. Take care 💙

Anyways, as I’ve done in all my recent previous posts I’m going to end the post with one of my fav relatable supplication.

Morning/evening remembrance:

O Allah, make me healthy in my body. O Allah, preserve for me my hearing. O Allah, preserve for me my sight. There is none worthy of worship but You. (Recite three times in Arabic)

اللّهُمَّ عافِني في بَدَني ، اللّهُمَّ عافِني في سَمْعِي ، اللّهُمَّ عافِني في بَصَرِي ، لا إلهَ إلاّ أَنْتَ
(3 times)

Allaahumma 'aafinee fee badanee, Allaahumma 'aafinee fee sam'ee, Allaahumma 'aafinee fee basaree, laa 'ilaaha 'illaa 'Anta (three times).

Abu Dawud 4/324, Ahmad 5/42, An-Nasa'i, 'Amalul-Yawm wal-Laylah (no. 22), Ibn As-Sunni (no. 69), Al-Bukhari Al-'Adab Al-Mufrad. Its chain of transmission is good (Hasan), Ibn Baz, p. 26.

Last one for the blog. Elhan enjoying the Champs Vitamin C. Kids grow up so fast, don't they?

PEACE & LOVE!
