AURORA Aura

About 8 years ago in April 2009, I blogged about my fascination of the aurora, one of nature's most gorgeous phenomena at ~(awe)rora~. And now here I am wearing aere's top named AURORA, named so because it's really one of my favs from aere's LIFE collection.
It's a continuation of the ruffle tops from last year's FEEL Eid collection, i.e. the AELLA and CELIA Tops but this year there are more layers of ruffles and we played with different textures of fabric (its very subtle here as I'm wearing the nude coloured AURORA but if you have a look at the other colours you'll get what I mean). I personally picked and ensured the colours so that it can be easily paired and mix-and-matched with most of the skirts and pants that's been designed in the LIFE collection for Eid and also beyond!
In this post I'm really in my comfort zone: neutral colours. I'm wearing the AURORA Top paired with 2 different skirts to show how the versatile AURORA can be worn with different types of bottoms to suit different kinds of occasions for this season. Also, you can also wear it with pants outside of the Eid period, if you want to. One of my favourite parts of the AURORA Top is the back (see below). This top is also nursing friendly even though it's not obvious (there are two hidden zippers underneath) and the outer layer acts as a nursing cover too!
I paired the AURORA with the AUREUS Skirt first. Supporters of aere since the first Eid collection will definitely know the much-loved and sought after CERUS Pants which have been restocked a number of times the past 2 years. aere has just released the AUREUS Skirt and the VERUS Pants using the exact same fabric with the same subtle sheen with CERUS Pants that everyone loves since aere's very first Eid collection. Definitely one of my favourite skirts because I can pair it with almost anything in my wardrobe when I want to go for a more modest look. The VERUS Pants are also great because of the cut that is designed to flatter you.
Then I paired the AURORA with the ALEXEA Sequins Skirt for a more glammed up look. Shared a video at the bottom of this post for you to see the 2 looks in motion :)

I love tops of aurora alot. Their quality of fabric is outclass. It never torn nor get damaged. Perfect for eid and other occassion.
