The Golden Voice of John Legend

John Legend was in town and he blew KL away last night! He performed at the Plenary Hall in KL Convention Centre as he wanted it to be "more intimate and get to know KL better".
I went with Kak Wawa, Kak Nadia and Zara. It was a cuzzie's night out as Kak Wawa had arranged for our tickets. Unfortunately, we couldnt manage to sit together. Well, we did, but we all sat in a vertical row in front of each other. My hubby was the odd guy out and his seat was in the middle, away from ALL OF US.
That didn't matter as the multi talented John Legend mesmerized us with his voice and piano skills. He sang and sang without stopping and we were amazed how he could sing so well without any break. His voice sounded even better in real life than on the cd or radio. He was a very smooth entertainer, shared his life experience, how he comes up with songs, and even got everyone to stand and dance. He also performed a Michael Jackson song and a song by Bruce Springsteen too. My favourite was So High, Ordinary People and of course All of Me. I love his cover of the Bridge Over Troubled Water too. It was a jaw dropping moment for me.
He's definitely worth the admission price.
Since it was a special night, I wanted to glam it up a bit. So I wore a black long-sleeved long dress and decided to wear aere's gold sequinned jacket. It made all the difference and jazzed up the simple black dress. I toned it down with this madison sugarscarf.
A lot of people asked me where I got my jacket from. I had to tell them that its from aere and it will be releasing soon. I cant wait to share my other designs as well!!
