Casual Sunday in the Aegean Sea

6:44:00 PM

Happy Sunday everyone!

I'm not really a morning person, what more on weekends, but I went out really early to go to the park for a walk which somehow included a very interesting morning activity which I will blog about soon! Right after we left the park, my husband and I went to meet our good friend Langston Hues for breakfast. Well, the plan was to have breakfast, but we decided to have pancakes at PHOP and ended up having a really BIG breakfast (which we consoled ourselves and decided to call it brunch). It's always great to catch up with Langston whenever he's around in Kuala Lumpur and hear his stories.

Anyway, I'd just thought I'd do a quick post and share my casual look of the day. Since it was just supposed to be a lazy kinda day, I just put on a blue oversized loose top. I know this is probably an ancient fashion tip, but you can never go wrong by pairing blue and brown together. So I wore a brown scarf and decided to pair it with my new bag which I knew would compliment the look well!

...

Okay. I confess. I decided to wear my look JUST to compliment my bag. Why? It's because I am REALLY loving the Mini Overnighter bag! It can fit everything I want to bring including my camera and an extra lens. It is from MISCHA, which features its distinctive and beautiful trademark interlocking hexagon, symbolising the longevity of a tortoise.
The Mini Overnighter is very versatile as I could carry it over my shoulder with its detachable shoulder strap or carry it by the top handles. The bag is made of 100% coated cotton canvas and calf leather trims. It's a classic design which is simple but also bold and a statement-maker. The bag's finishing is really well done. Check out the gold studs at the bottom. I also chose the colour blue and brown. You can't go wrong.
Okay, I know I'm supposed to look for a mini bag so that I can reduce the stuffs in my bag (See  The Minibag Issue & Minibag Issue #2), but guys, it is CALLED the *Mini* Overnighter bag! So it's still mini! kind of.. right?
