Free and on the Loose

Salam dear readers! It feels good to blog today after one week. My fingers felt itchy already after not typing for awhile.
To be honest, a lot has happened and I have been so busy that I did not have time to blog! Exciting things have been happening and I have never been happier with what God has chosen for me.
There are so many pending blogposts that I intended to publish daily but time has not been permitting!
There are a lot of things happening in my life right now that are life changing and I intend to share with you all soon if God permits and wills it. I will be sharing the good things of course, don't worry. Hehe. I've made a promise to myself not to share any bad things on the blog and to anyone who are not family.
I did not have the time to blog last week as the husband planned an awesome gateway for us. The last time we had one was in April 2013 just after my confinement. I'll blog about the trip soon! Apart from that I've left the fashion company that I help build since last year and I am moving on to do even better things. I am not going to reveal to you just yet!
So, for now I'll just share what I wore last 18th May 2014. As you can see, for the first time ever in this blog I am posting an outfit of me wearing the tudung bawal (square shawl). It has been a long while since I wore 'em. When I was in uni I wore this kind of shawl most of the time. Oh and I barely wore any makeup that day!
That day I visited my dad at the hospital after the injury he had a few days before that. You know how they say a picture tells a thousand words? For me the pictures in here tells so much and only those very close and dear to me knows the significance of the pictures.
Let's just say, after a trauma that happened to me one fine day, it has been a difficult task to actually walk past that spot. All strength comes from the Almighty. :)
So that day, having been able to walk and take pictures over there was some sort of an achievement. Though it might mean nothing to any other person. A story only my family can understand. :)
Anyways, back to the outfit. I felt like wearing all loose that day. Since the top was really loose I tucked in the centre bit of the top into the skirt. I felt it made a lot of difference to the whole look. I felt super comfy and I felt like Mary Kate and Ashley. You know how they like to wear oversized and baggy clothes. Sometimes I feel that their looks are even more modest than those wearing hijabs or so called "tudungs"! Well, at least that's what I feel. Especially compared to me of course! I've been guilty of wearing tight clothes many many times.
Anyways, how I felt wearing the loose top and skirt that day? Comfortable, free, light, happy and just... good. I felt good.
The top has a certain eccentric design which is very boho chic and I loved the design of the skirt too! It certainly is unique. I do not have to say much about it as you can see from the pictures. It's really nice.
I have a feeling that I'll be wearing a lot of these pieces separately in the future! Especially on casual days!
Oh, and I will share more on what's happening in my life soon, okay? Wait for it!
