Favourite Colours Unite : Blue & Yellow

As promised in my post Surprises at the Exclusive Preview of Galeri Ariani 2014 Collection, here's the outfit details of what I wore to the said event.
The theme was 'kemas dan berstail' which I guess translates into smart and stylish. I decided to wear the blue tutu skirt together with a shawl of similar colour and a lacey creme top to tone down the colour of the whole look. Chose to wear my mother's yellow vintage bag just to pop up the look.
Blue is one of my fav colours since I was small. Bright, fresh, pleasing to the eyes, smart, exudes confidence and the colours of the skies and the sea, two of the many things I love to see.
Yellow too, have been one of my new found favorite colours especially since I was pregnant with Jibrael. When I was at the hospital for 78 days a lot of yellow coloured things in the hospital brought colours to my life while everything seemed so colourless.
